REGAN−3 is a manual controller that controls work of fans, heaters and incandescent lighting depending on adjusted value of control by means of a knob. This device enables fluent power control of load from the minimum level (set with micro-switches, 8 values) to total switch on.

Regulation is performed by phase control with voltage that supplies the load. Changes in the level of control are made by turning the knob that is placed on the side of the housing. The controller has got a fuse protecting it against overloading.

The REGAN-3 controller has got unlike REGAN-3-BW a power switch on the side of the housing.

Characteristics:

• phase control of resistance load (lighting, illuminators) or inductive ones (single-phase asynchronous motors),

• adjustment by means of a knob (turn potentiometer),

• additional terminal that enables connection of supporting winding of an asynchronous motor in a way that enhances the torque at lower levels of control.
